Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius did a marvelous job this week of undermining the move toward
evidence-based medicinerationed medical care with her hasty and cowardly disavowal of a recommendation from her department’s own task force that women under 50 are probably better off not getting routine annual mammograms.
There, Cuba-sucking MSM socialized medicine booster, fixed it for you.

I live in a very progressive neighborhood and this mammogram thing (along with the cervical cancer screening recommendation changes two days later) is not going over really well with my neighbors. The thing is almost every woman over 40 knows of at least one woman who was diagnosed in her 40s or even younger (I personally know a woman who had breast cancer in her 20s and several who were diagnosed in their 30s or early 40s). I wonder if those last few HOPE and CHANGE bumper stickers will be scraped off this weekend.
