The government announced some emergency measures this week, including limits on imports of air-conditioning systems, rate increases for consumers of large amounts of power and the building of new gas-fired power plants, which would not be completed until the middle of the next decade.
In other words, Commie Chavez announced confiscations, tariffs, and pie in the sky. Pretty much par for the course for communists. Epic fail from start to, um, grave.

Ride, every year we celebrate Earth Day by holding a contest to see who can find the most creative ways to burn energy or otherwise do the sorts of activities that horrify the green weenies. Last time, as I recall, I put all my electric heaters out on the patio to warm it up (it ain’t enclosed), and gave my SUV a good, solid, low-gear workout.

Communism has only succeeded temporarily and once the people realize they are only benefiting the government there will be unrest. Then the regime must hold them down until they cannot any more. History has proven that absolute power corrupts.
