But Hasan isn’t the sole guilty party. The US Army’s unforgivable political correctness is also to blame for the casualties at Ft. Hood.Given the myriad warning signs, it’s appalling that no action was taken against a man apparently known to praise suicide bombers and openly damn US policy. But no officer in his chain of command, either at Walter Reed Army Medical Center or at Ft. Hood, had the guts to take meaningful action against a dysfunctional soldier and an incompetent doctor.
Had Hasan been a Lutheran or a Methodist, he would’ve been gone with the simoon. But officers fear charges of discrimination when faced with misconduct among protected minorities.
Now 12 soldiers and a security guard lie dead. 31 soldiers were wounded, 28 of them seriously. If heads don’t roll in this maggot’s chain of command, the Army will have shamed itself beyond moral redemption.
There’s another important issue, too. How could the Army allow an obviously incompetent and dysfunctional psychiatrist to treat our troubled soldiers returning from war? An Islamist whacko is counseled for arguing with veterans who’ve been assigned to his care? And he’s not removed from duty? What planet does the Army live on?
For the first time since I joined the Army in 1976, I’m ashamed of its dereliction of duty. The chain of command protected a budding terrorist who was waving one red flag after another. Because it was safer for careers than doing something about him.
Get ready for the apologias. We’ve already heard from the terrorist’s family that “he’s a good American.” In their world, maybe he is.
But when do we, the American public, knock off the PC nonsense?
I think - I hope - that the segement of Americans who still have working brains will see all this for what it is: Yet another example of distant elites who claim to lead us, but who are utterly out of touch with what we think, believe, and desire.
Most Americans understand that Islam is the enemy. There, I said it. Islam is the enemy!
Sure, there are some Muslims who don’t advocate murder in the name of their religion, but damned few are willing to stand up and say so out loud - for fear they’ll be murdered by other Muslims. The borders of the Islamic world are dripping with blood - dozens of wars, “revolutions,” and insurgencies, with dozens of “enemies” on one side - and Islam on the other.
There is no nation on the planet with an Islamic government that is not a barbaric shithole, and getting worse. There is the infamous “Muslim Street” that giggles and fires off guns in joyous celebration of every single massacre of the innocent carried out by their fellow religionists.
Too hell with them, and the filthy religion they believe in and practice. And to hell with their non-Muslim collaborators, fifth columnists, and traitors here in the United States and the rest of what remains of the free world. Especially those who purport to represent us, but actually act as if, and seem to believe, they rule us.

There may be some, or lots, of Mohammedans who would never do as Hasan, the WTC bombers, or many other Musselmen do around the world on a daily basis. The problem is that Islam is fundamentally violent - the founder preached violence, practised it, and led in it. A religion will always generate fundamentalists, and they can appear in any benign group of practitioners - it’s a “get back to the pure roots” phenomenon. This means that Islam cannot be cured. The only solution is for it to cease to exist as a major religion.
Part of the founder’s program for defeating others is to appear friendly while working to destroy. Treachery arises naturally enough in people, but with Islam, treachery is part of fundamental Islam - it is part of the founder’s plan. What that means is that a group like CAIR is just doing what the religion fundamentally instructs it to do.
We see the danger of a concept like religious toleration, which developed in the context of feuding European religions, when it is generalized to include other religions that were not part of the development of that toleration. But I see no danger in any other major religion. It’s just Islam.
