Saudi court upholds child rapist crucifixion ruling | World | Reuters
RIYADH (Reuters) - A Saudi court of cassation upheld a ruling to behead and crucify a 22-year-old man convicted of raping five children and leaving one of them to die in the desert, newspapers reported on Tuesday.
While in theory I sympathize, I think that a needle in the arm is sufficient for a civilized nation. Barbarian savages administer punishment like this. Yes, I know the Romans were big on crucifixion for non-citizens, but that was a barbarian practice as well.

So this f*cker is going to be beheaded, then tied to a crucifix to display his body as a warning. Certainly much less barbaric than the Roman crucifixion or the English diversion of being hung, drawn and quartered. Perhaps not barbaric at all. Now if it was the reverse sequnce of events, then yes it’s barbaric.
In this case, can we just go with somethibng more fitting, like raping him and leaving him to die in the desert like he did his youngest victim?
I’m confused. When they report five children do they mean all boys or the equivalent ten girls? Is the punishment because he couldn’t pay restitution or is it for impersonating the Prophet (PBUH)?
