    Another iteration of my most favoritist form of Lying With Statistics: The good ol’ Owning/Having a Gun Makes People (X-Number Of Times) More Likely To Get Shot/Killed.

    aka: Misinterpretation/misstatement of junk-science “studies” for consumption by the scientifically-illiterate and easily-duped…

    Reflects, among other things, an obvious lack of understanding of the difference between the terms “coincident” and “causal,” as well as a blithe disregard for factual statements.

    The comments entered to Mr. Volokh’s post are interesting, as well.
