Thanks, But I Don’t Form My Opinions of Palin via the MSM
September 25th 2009 Palin

Hot Air » Blog Archive » PPP poll: Palin’s favorability at 37/55

Head-to-head with Obama, she’s steady from last month: He led her 52/38 in August and leads 53/38 now. But her favorables are in the toilet, dropping from 47/45 in July to 40/49 in August to … 37/55. The positive spin for Palin fans, I guess, is that the less the public sees of her, the worse she seems to do, which turns the conventional media wisdom on its head.

There’s no mystery about this. What with the full-court hate-Palin press ongoing among both the MSM and the GOP mandarinate establishment, whenever Palin isn’t in the public eye the opinions of her cannot help but be shaped by the deluge of crap about her pouring from these two sources. It backfires, however, whenever she returns to the public eye and makes it all the more obvious just how dishonest these portrayals of her really are.

I, for one, have no intention of letting either the GOP establishment, or, especially, the Mainly Socialist Media, dictate whom the GOP leader should be. That’s how we ended up with John RINO McCain, and they’d love to make something like that happen again.
