CIA Chief Says Cheney Almost ‘Wishing’ U.S. Be Attacked Again - Political News - FOXNews.com
WASHINGTON — CIA Director Leon Panetta says former Vice President Dick Cheney’s criticism of the Obama administration’s approach to terrorism almost suggests “he’s wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point.”
Whereas, on the other hand, Hussein Obama and his political hackpuppet Panetta are actively working to make that attack happen, so they can launch a national security coup d’etat, and proscribe those of our liberties they haven’t yet managed to destroy by any other means.
UPDATE: Welcome, Instapundit readers!
UPDATE: For the few morons who will arrive along with the Instalanche: No, I don’t actually believe Obama (along with CIA chief Panetta) is actually working to make an attack happen. I merely offer this as an equivalent piece of scurrilous smearing to advise Panetta - who should know better, but is a Democrat, so of course he doesn’t - that the smear game runs both ways.
Also to remind both Obama and Panetta that there is a reason why Americans have traditionally trusted Republicans more than Democrats when it comes to matters of national security. And questioning former Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney’s patriotism isn’t going to change that one bit.

LOL! Does Leon Panetta even know who you are? If he does, he probably knows you as the dumbass shit eating Republican who was so useful in helping getting his boss elected because you longed to be in the political wilderness. So are you enjoying the Obama shit sandwich you wanted others to order for you?
Poor old Leon is just trying to shut up the buzz saw known as Cheney but found a curiously ham handed way of doing it. The obama crew has already lost the so called “debate” on torture and Gitmo and are frustrated in having their short comings pointed out on a daily basis by Cheney.
We trust Republicans more than Democrats because Democrats are less interested in hoo-rah American Fuck Yeah Mission Accomplished (salute) Sheep-Dog displays. There’s a reason that the third Seawolf–the spec-ops optimized one–was named the “Jimmy Carter”, and it has nothing to do with swimming rabbits.
Why, “wishing for an attack” is a horrible accusation! I can’t even think of a parallel. It would almost be like, Oh, I suppose….. a politician wishing for the United States to lose a war that they voted to send US forces into.
And such a thing could never happen, of course. It would just be too low down and loathsome a thing for a politician to do.
And right on schedule, up jumps the tiresome, mindless handful of drive-by trolls, exactly as predicted.
There’s a reason that the third Seawolf was named the Jimmy Carter.
Please enlighten me because when they did it, I could think of no reason why that man should be honored that way. He was a complete disaster.
Bill, you silly underwater rabbit: don’t you know that it’s only “smearing” and “scurrilous” when we do it? When the liberal / socialist / Democrat sphere engages in such behavior, it’s a “joke”, “fair comment” or “pushback against the Cheney / Rove / Limbaugh machine”.
Now please stop calling Our Worthy President a socialist bastard, or they’ll insult your daughters too.
Durst: McCain was the shit sandwich, and Obama is every bit the destroyer of the Democratic Party I had hoped he would be. If you think BJ Clinton damaged the party, wait till you see the rubble that remains after Obama is booted from office in 2012. I don’t expect lefty dumbasses - of which I see we have a nice sampling responding to this thread, as I predicted - to understand much beyond how to rent their mouths (and other orifices) out to their favorite socialist politicians - but you might at least try to get the terminology right.
As for you, aptly-named Dense Duck, right. Carter was the King of non-”hoo-rah American Fuck Yeah Mission Accomplished (salute) Sheep-Dog displays” special ops missions like Operation EAGLE CLAW. Another high point of Democrat presidential special-ops warmaking was, of course, JFK’s Bay of Pigs. So in that, you are correct: Disasters like these are indeed some of the many reasons Americans trust Republicans more than Democrats with their nation’s security and defense.
Dumbass.
Not just snark:
Progressives need to feel they are big and brave revolutionaries fighting valiantly against evil oppressors. Thus, comparing Ahmadi Nejad to Bush or Rove meets their psychological need. Quaint notions like truth, accuracy, and proportion cannot stand against such a foe as raging insecurity.
