BAM’S DOUBLE TALK - New York Post
How dumb does President Obama think the American people are?
On Tuesday, he and a cross-section of congressional Democrats assembled at the White House to declare an urgent need to restore the “PAYGO” system — that is, spending rules ostensibly designed to impose some fiscal discipline in Washington.
“The ‘pay as you go’ rule is very simple,” said the president. “Congress can only spend a dollar if it saves a dollar elsewhere.”
Added Obama: “Paying for what you spend is basic common sense. Perhaps that’s why, here in Washington, it’s been so elusive.”
Now that’s rich.
Uh huh.

Big Lie - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The essential English leadership secret does not depend on particular intelligence. Rather, it depends on a remarkably stupid thick-headedness. The English follow the principle that when one lies, one should lie big, and stick to it. They keep up their lies, even at the risk of looking ridiculous.[2]
Who came up with the concept of the “Big Lie?” Hitler, and his penis-puppet propagandist, Goebbels.
That’s why we call Obama a liberal fascist.
UPDATE: I just realized something about this statement. All along, Obama has been telling us that government - specifically, the government located in Washington, D.C. - is the answer to all our problems. Is he now saying that his much vaunted “answer” is short on common sense?
I think this must be a watershed moment.

It seems like BHOh’s methodology is to follow his ivory tower instincts until the results come in and the opinion polls turn against him. Then, he starts flailing around wildly, acting practically at random except to toss a few of his close, personal friends under the bus.
Seems to me flailing and bus elevating are preferable to the ivory tower instincts. BS he doesn’t plan on acting on is better than active damage.
More inside-the-Beltway bull-hockey - “common sense” in DeeCee remains elusive, as it always will so long as this sort of mendacity continues.
This “cool dude” is, at once, the biggest liar and the biggest economic moron ever to inhabit the Oval Office - the absolute, unmatched king of make-shit-up-as-you-go-along…
And we thought Slick Willie was some bold act…
