In other words, libertarian Obama supporters got the opposite of what they hoped for: a moderate on foreign and national security policy, and someone fundamentally reassessing American economic policy in the direction of bigger government.
I wonder how many libertarian fans Obama has left?
Probably lots, because the morons calling themselves libertarians who voted for Obama weren’t actually, you know, libertarians.
Unless your notion of libertarian is a Bill Maher-style libertine.

Libertarian Party faithful are pacifists. They love Obama. Economics does not enter their equation. There’s a real reason Ron Paul has stepped out of that party.
I dunno. Ask Megan McArdle. While she has bashed some individual policy decisions, she’s still on board the Barry Train.
Yeah, I know, and I lost a lot of respect for her over Obama.
Of course, she and Randy Andy Sullivan are the Atlantic’s token “conservatives.” So they have to keep on being the sort of conservatives the Atlantic likes - conservatives who vote for Obama.
From the comments to the post I’d have to say most of them. They seem to have borrowed the repub blinders.
