New Homeland Security chief orders review of immigrant raid
SEATTLE — Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has ordered a review of a raid earlier this week at a Bellingham, Wash., manufacturing plant that ended with the arrests of 28 illegal immigrants.
Napolitano told lawmakers during a hearing in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday that she did not know about the raid before it happened and was briefed on it early Wednesday morning. She has asked U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which conducted the raid, for answers.
“I want to get to the bottom of this as well,” she said. She said work-site enforcement needs to be focused on the employers.
And so, at the stroke of a policy, amnesty becomes a reality.

Which, of course, means that in the near-future, the understood policy will be to sorta ignore all those hard-workin’ lawbreakers - at least long enough for them to pay their taxes, register and vote (Democrat, natch)…
Some of the folks I work with here in Arizona tell me that this is perfectly consistent with Napolitano’s operational mode while she was Governor here - and part of the reason why she was able to become Governor to begin with.
ACORN’s not the only people working as hard as possible to make sure the Dem vote totals increase “by any means necessary,” whether legal or not…
You mean, exactly like the 1986 immigration law was written? Fine employers who knowingly employ illegal aliens, or who don’t ensure that employees are legal workers?

Going to be hard for the employers if congress “forgets” to fund the Everify system. SC now requires all employers to use everify and might even fine those who hire illegals. The law says they should, but you know how our Blue Falcon politicians are.
What about border-site enforcement? How about doing something to stop illegals before they get in?
We have to wait until they cross the border. The MSM and the Mexican government would go apeshit over US agents working the southern side of the border. IMHO, the border would be a good place to dump all that radioactive waste we don’t know what to do with. Easy to find the illegals then. All you do is look for people that glow in the dark and are losing clumps of hair.
