In an interview with The Washington Post today, Susan Levy, Chandra’s mother, said that she was told by D.C. Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier and Lt. Michael Farish that the department had made a breakthrough in the case.
It’s not Gary Condit even if he is a lowlife.
The police investigation into the murder of Chandra Levy ramped up in recent months, after The Post in July published a 13-part serial narrative investigation into the case, pointing to Ingmar Guandique, a Salvadoran immigrant, as the most likely suspect in the case.
Sources with knowledge of the investigation who spoke under condition of anonymity told The Post Guandique is the one named in the warrant.
And while looking for a linkable story I found this rather bizarre site.

This site claims she was working for Mossad and came across information linking Timothy McVeigh to the CIA, and 9/11 and the WTC bombing and Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan. Talk about your complete conspiracy theory. I’m surprised they didn’t try to link in John Wilkes Boothe and the Lindbergh baby.

While we have had 24/7 coverage of Chandra Levy back when she went missing and after her body was found, and since police finally admitted that it was the illegal alien who killed her (though they refer to him only as an “immigrant” or “Salvadoran national”), we never heard or read a national report about the murders of the tens of thousands of innocent American citizens, by illegal aliens here in the US. The MSM finds those facts inconvenient. Here are the names of some of those victims of illegal aliens, the MSM, their corporate owners and corrupt democrats in congress. Ask yourself why wealthy democrat contributers like the Levys merit wall to wall coverage, yet the families of these innocent victims never got even a mere 15 minutes of attention?
13 yr old Dani Countrymen, raped by one illegal alien, while his cousin, also an illegal stamped down on her throat, crushing her windpipe, because she struggled to defend herself.

While the above reads sort of canned, I’m going to leave it up, because I think it conveys valuable information that more Americans need to know about.
I kind of question 40,000 deaths of Americans by illegal aliens in one year. For one thing, the FBI crime statistics have been released only for the first half of 2008. For another, 40,000 is more than twice the total murders in the US for 2007. One item of probable bogusity throws the rest of the canned comment into question.
That being said, even one incident of crime by an illegal alien is too much to ask Americans to tolerate.
Among other things they are including victims of drunk driving illegals.
BTW. It may well be canned. I think that someone may have decided that a cheap and effective way to get their message out was to comment on anything having to do with Chandra or any other high profile case involving an illegal.
Fine, so we take approx 16K murders (which includes manslaughters) and approx 16K drunk driving fatalities. Even if we call 32K “close enough” to 40K, are we supposed to believe that every one of those deaths was caused by an illegal alien? That’s quite the slanderous statement, that the most violent nation on earth can’t manage to kill its own people.
Quite a few industrial accidents are the result of illegals not understanding English.

I would certainly agree that crimes by illegal aliens are probably a problem that is not assigned a high enough negative value by our current leaders. Therefore, this problem should have a higher priority in our policy goals. However, if we did good things to address this problem, eventually we would experience diminishing marginal returns, and then negative marginal returns in terms of losing other freedoms, if we pressed on. This is the same reason that, for example, the “War on Drugs” is a problem.
I’ve now been here long enough to know that SteveF is perfectly comfortable with rhetorical overreach, so I’m not asking him to change his opinion or anything. That would just result in him retaliating by trying to get under my skin, which is fine. But the reason I care is, the bad guys also use arguments like, “even one instance of x is too much to tolerate,” too. I think the good can only be advanced by commitment to empiricism, so I reject any argument that comes from a false rational premise, even if it’s by somebody on my side.

I wouldn’t be so sure that the Chandra Levy murder has been solved unless there is DNA or real proof. I still believe that she was murdered because she was pregnant and expected the congressman to leave his family and be with her.
If this murder was committed by an illegal alien then the Lev family should sue the government for failure to protect American citizens. We have laws that should prevent illegals and they are not enforces.

CayleyGraph, I realize that juveniles such as you are doing very well to be able to read your junior high school diplomas, but please don’t get too full of yourself. The English language is pretty tricky, and some words have more than one meaning. “Sanction” is a particularly nasty example, with two opposite meanings. Unfortunately for you, “ethical” is not one of those words. It has only a few definitions, all with approximately the same meaning.
Moreover, history began well before the mid-1990s, and there were Presidents other than BJ and W. It’s perfectly understandable that a near infant, such as yourself, would lack the wisdom to avoid the Obama Kool-Aid and would therefore think he had already clearly bested all of his predecessors. But please, read some history. Your high school social studies teacher may discourage it, but you can go to the public library and do some reading.
Mustn’t read aloud, though, CG - they do have rules. You may follow along with your finger, though, and they nearly always have one of those big Unabridged things, so you can look up all the more-than-two-syllable stuff…
