State employee: I get $93,803 for no work.
Give the guy credit: He’s the only state employee in America complaining because he doesn’t have enough work to do.

Sorry, I’m not impressed - reading through the whole piece, the message I get is, here’s a guy who got slightly crosswise to a prior administration of his state government, was (apparently) “retaliated” against by being shuffled into a figurehead position. His primary response appears to have been: Until you give me exactly what I want for work to do, I’ll sit on my duff, soak up a high-five-figure annual paycheck (plus, quite likely, hefty benefits to match) and whine about my rotten situation and how you’ve dmaged my “dignity.”
No (apparent) attempt to go find a job elsewhere equivalent to what he’s allegedly so good at -
Just a lot of moaning about “they won’t give me what I want to do” and “I’m bored to death,” etc. -
What a bozo.
Word to Hinton: Get off your fat Native-American butt and go do something useful elsewhere - stop soaking up that high-scale dole, and get your “dignity” back by doing some actual work somewhere.
Could be the Peter principle in action, huh?
