Nobody not hopelessly naive can be in the least surprised by this outcome. Did anybody actually believe the Democrats, the acknowledged party of corruption, wouldn’t give Rangel - and Dodd, and all the rest of the greasy gang - a pass?

Heck, they’ll probably run “Freezer” Jefferson in the next cycle.

    No matter the actual content or intent, seeing “Rangel” and “Ethics” in the same sentence is a bit scary -

    Like seeing “Syria” and “Human Rights” mentioned together…

    Pelosi figured out that there’s no such thing a swamp. The proper term is “wetlands.”

    And you simply cannot drain wetlands.

    It’s more of a Bill comment. My wordplay comments tend to involve multilingual puns, alliteration, or insulting variations of names. Non-wordplay comments, of course, have lots of death, over-the-top looniness, and Big-Headed Omniscience getting together with Pelosi’s Perfumed Pudenda while Hairy Reedy wishes he could get in on the action.
