I suspect that all that sweet talk about bipartisanship is going to be thrown overboard and this will be rammed through on essentially a party-line vote. The President met today with House Republicans, reminding them “I won.”
I didn’t “suspect” it, I expected it. As for that party-line vote, I expect John McCain to vote with his party - the Democrats.

For Democrats bipartisanship means signing on to everything they want to do. This is why McCain would have been a disaster for conservatives (by the way, I hate that term - I don’t ever describe myself as one).
