Cornyn said he wanted to assure a “full debate” on the impact of donations by foreign nations to a foundation run by her husband, former President Bill Clinton. But a spokesman for Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., the majority leader, said Cornyn’s maneuver “will do nothing to prevent her from being confirmed tomorrow by an overwhelming bipartisan margin.”

Takeaway: We can crush you. And we will.
