Earth on the Brink of an Ice Age - Pravda.Ru
The earth is now on the brink of entering another Ice Age, according to a large and compelling body of evidence from within the field of climate science. Many sources of data which provide our knowledge base of long-term climate change indicate that the warm, twelve thousand year-long Holocene period will rather soon be coming to an end, and then the earth will return to Ice Age conditions for the next 100,000 years.
Who the hell knows? It’s Pravda, after all, and it is published next to a story about a man dragging a mini-van with his left ear. Still, it’s interesting to see the national voice of the (former) lefty mothership calling out the global warning fraudsters. Just think: If Russia was still officially communist, this would be enough to end left-wing support for globaloney warmening overnight.
UPDATE:
While concern over the dubious threat of Anthropogenic Global Warming continues to distract the attention of people throughout the world, the very real threat of the approaching and inevitable Ice Age, which will render large parts of the Northern Hemisphere uninhabitable, is being foolishly ignored.
This is one of the real problems with the Global Warming religion. On the other hand, if we are entering a new ice age, you can bet that the statists will simply switch the justification of their efforts to give all power to the state from “combating global warming” to “combating global cooling.” In fact, they are already trying to do so, by dropping “global warming” in favor of “climate change.” That covers all the bases, and leaves them only with the task of switching the necessary state ordered-and-controlled “remedies.”

If CO2 causes warming then we will just have to produce more CO2. Just have to reverse the Gorebal warming crowds thinking for the last 15-20 years.
The thrust of the article, which has been mentioned here before, is that CO2 concentrations follow, not precede, temperature changes - by about 800 years. So if you want to see more CO2, you’re going to have to find some other way to warm up the joint.
