UPDATE: Bad reviews for A.G. Lisa Madigan: “The legal argument in the brief is embarrassingly inadequate.”

So what? Take a look at this:

Illinois Supreme Court - Judgepedia

The Supreme Court of Illinois is the highest court in Illinois. It was founded in 1818 in Article IV of the Illinois Constitution. The court includes seven justices who are elected in partisan elections from the state’s five judicial districts to serve renewable ten-year terms.

And guess what? Three of the seven justices, including the Chief Justice, were elected out of District One - that is, elected by the Chicago Democrat Machine. You may think that the Illinois judicial system is immune to corruption. You would be wrong.

Short takeaway: The Illinois Supreme Court will do whatever the Illinois Democrat machine tells it to do about Blagojevich.
