Appeals on Jihadist websites for money indicated a cash flow problem while denunciation of Jihadi methods by some leading Muslim theologians affected the flow of new “Volunteers for Martyrdom”. The “invasion” may help ease pressure on Jihadists nested in Pakistan’s tribal area by diverting public attention to India and the dispute over Kashmir.

“All but abandoned” does not mean “abandoned entirely,” much less “vigorously attacked and destroyed.”

Gullible westerners believe that we don’t have the means to root them out of the Pakistani “tribal areas,” or anywhere else. What we lack is the will to do what is necessary. Does Iraq’s Saddam Hussein regime threaten us with an EMP attack? No. Because we destroyed it. Does Iran’s? Yes. Because we lack the will to destroy it as well.

Here’s a prediction: If the Islamofascist savages who attacked Mumbai were Sunni, some of their financial and other support came from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. If they were Shia, some of their financial and other support came from Iran.

Here is an extremely simple truth, so simple, and so true that the idiots in charge of the defense of the west simply cannot grasp it: If the regimes running Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan were to vanish tomorrow, much of Islamic terrorism would disappear with them, and what was left would be a minuscule threat. If those regimes not only vanished, but were replaced with regimes vigorously committed to attacking terror gangs and denying them any help, succor, or support, Islamic terrorism would disappear almost entirely.
