Pre-emptive Election, Pre-emptive Canonization
November 9th 2008 General

It’s not enough that our suddenly unity-minded “friends” on the moonbat left managed to ram Obama into the Presidency without allowing either his resume or his policies to be properly vetted. Now, via Malkin, we are informed that their next planned inversion of normality is to demand a National Holiday for their Messiah - before he’s even been inaugurated.

From the comments:

Obama cake will be the symbolic body of the Lord Barack Zer0-Bama. Our Savior who worships Himself.

Some things are just beyond parody. The really sad thing is that John McCain and his campaign lost to this pack of deranged autofellators.

UPDATE:

Across the pond, Peter Hitchens smells the incense burning:

Anyone would think we had just elected a hip, skinny and youthful replacement for God, with a plan to modernise Heaven and Hell – or that at the very least John Lennon had come back from the dead.

The swooning frenzy over the choice of Barack Obama as President of the United States must be one of the most absurd waves of self-deception and swirling fantasy ever to sweep through an advanced civilisation. At least Mandela-worship – its nearest equivalent – is focused on a man who actually did something.

I really don’t see how the Obama devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts.

Read the whole thing. It’s embarrassing and infuriating that the British press can see clearly what our own presspropagandists refuse to see.
