With Virginia falling into the Barack Obama column, the official winner of the Daily Pundit Election Prediction contest of 2008 is “Tim.”
His prediction:
I predict that Obama will win the electoral college by racking up 364 votes. He’ll win a majority of the national popular vote with 51.5%. McCain will come in at 46.5%, with the other parties garnering 2%..
The Dems will end up with 58 votes in the Senate, including Independents who vote with them like Lieberman.
The Democrats will pick up 19 seats in the House.
His predictions were almost preternaturally accurate.
