Althouse: Should/must/will the Democrats repeal DOMA?

I said in another thread that I already have a sense of gays being thrown under the bus again as the Democrats rise to power. All the gay people voted for the Democrats and helped them get to where they are now, but we’re unlikely to get anything in return.

My sense of schadenfreude is boundless.

    Interesting exit poll statistic. Despite the all out effort on the part of the gay political machine(s) to elect Obama, he got less of a percentage of the gay vote than did Kerry in 2004. 70% versus 77%.

    Equally interesting: 70% of gays voted to support Obama. 70% of blacks voted against gay marriage in California.
