fake degree
November 4th 2008 Iran, General, Dumbasses, Corruption, Assholes

This is another post having nothing to do with all the fraudulent voting. More bad news for Iranian President Ahmadinejad. Iran minister sacked over forgery. MP’s fake degree stokes anger in Iran. Looks like Ahmajihads luck has soured.

Parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani said 188 MPs from a total of 247 had voted for a motion to impeach Mr Kordan. Forty-five voted against the motion and 14 abstained.

But in an angry impeachment debate in parliament, one MP said the minister had regaled his own students with tales of his student days at Oxford.

Other MPs attacked President Ahmadinejad for his naivety in believing the minister’s lies.

All of this was stoked by a blatant attempt to buy off the impeachment by an aide of the president.

The official offered wads of cash to MPs - the equivalent of $5,000 (£3,150) each.

I too would have been insulted by the offer of a $5,000.00 bribe. Nothing less than $50,000.00.
