In an interview with McClatchy, Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank, the House Financial Services Committee chairman, who shepherded the legislation through Congress, disagreed that the plan has morphed beyond its original intent.
He’s lying. In fact, he probably promised his big banking buddies (who have been his biggest donors) that they would have free access to the goodie bag he was putting together for them.
I wonder how much the goodies will end up costing them on their next round of donations?
