Eonomy contracts as consumers retreat | Reuters

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. economy suffered its sharpest contraction in seven years in the third quarter as consumers cut spending and businesses reduced investment at the onset of what may be a severe and long-lasting recession.

A severe and long-lasting recession? But how can that be? Won’t the Messiah Hussein heal all things about 24 hours after he is elected?

Actually, what’s really going on here is Obama’s media allies are beginning to prep the field for a disastrous economy in Obama’s first year, an economy likely made even worse by whatever socialist steps he takes to fix things. The media is trying to make sure that the Evil Bush takes full blame for all of Obama’s failures.

    Ironic isn’t it? The Democrats are on the brink of a hitherto unimagined victory thanks to their ‘best friend’, George Bush.

    The media is trying to make sure that the Evil Bush takes full blame for all of Obama’s failures

    Re “spreading the wealth around”: That’s something you can’t do. You can only dismantle it.

    Gird yourselves and prepare for poverty. Ah, the ‘good’ ‘ol days are coming back again!
