Quoting journo Michael Malone:
The sheer bias in the print and television coverage of this election campaign is not just bewildering, but appalling.
And standard operating procedure in every election since Nixon’s first successful prexy run.
Which is why I tend to sneer at journo protests like this:
But worst of all, for the last couple weeks, I’ve begun — for the first time in my adult life — to be embarrassed to admit what I do for a living.
Really? You’ve never been embarrassed before, even by your “bless him” fellow journo Dan Rather? Even by the blatant attempts to steal the election for Al Gore? Even by the endless cheerleading for the Clintons? Even by the unbridled hatred for Ronald Reagan? Even by the smearing of Gerald Ford or Dan Quayle?
Your “profession” is corrupt and dangerous. You shouldn’t have any pride in it. The fact that it has taken so long for you to feel the proper emotion toward it - shame - is only testimony to your own long-standing disconnection from reality.
And decency.

I’m sure he will recover after their Leader wins.
