On Al-Qaeda Web Sites, Joy Over U.S. Crisis, Support for McCain
Al-Qaeda is watching the U.S. stock market’s downward slide with something akin to jubilation, with its leaders hailing the financial crisis as a vindication of its strategy of crippling America’s economy through endless, costly foreign wars against Islamist insurgents.
Let’s see if I can phrase this such that an illiterate camel-humper can understand: You are stupid.
Where do you think the weapons and ammo and food that supports you, comes from? Oil revenue. If the American economy tanks, the industrialized world’s economy tanks, and oil prices drop. Oops, they have dropped. So sorry. Maybe you can hold a bake sale to raise bullet money.
(This rant supposes that the WaPo reported a story accurately, not a safe bet.)

Why do I suspect that this is a false-flag op by AQ? Or maybe they just couldn’t put together an Obama fund-raising phone bank like their buddies in Hamas.
Or they’re really that delusional, like thinking the Soviet-Afghan war collapsed the USSR.
Except the ME producers have already said that they plan to reduce production.
