The Toledo Scum Blade

The Toledo Blade, in reporting on a Joe the Plumber appearance on Fox, dropped its pants, squatted down, and shat this turd into the middle of the report, apparently in service to the general media effort to destroy Joe for daring to question Hussein “The One” Obama:

toledoblade.com — ‘Joe’ wildly received on Fox News show

In the days since the debate, it became known Mr. Wurzelbacher is not a licensed plumber, is not buying a business that makes enough to be taxed more under Mr. Obama’s tax proposals, and has some tax liens against him.

On Friday, the East Valley/Scottsdale Tribune in Arizona reported that Mr. Wurzelbacher’s Arizona driver’s license was suspended in May, 2000, following nonpayment of a court-imposed fine for civil traffic violations. He lived in Arizona from 1997-2000.

Unfortunately, the Toledo Blabber didn’t see fit to expand their reporting to include other facts - that Joe isn’t licensed because he is finishing his apprenticeship, but has been working as a plumber for nearly five years, for his boss, who is licenced according to state of Ohio records freely available on the web.

Joe’s exact words to Obama were “I’m getting ready to buy a company that makes about 250, 270 - 80 thousand dollars a year…” not “I am buying a company…” The first speaks to planning, preparing, etc. The second speaks to a specific company Joe is already in negotiations to purchase. But don’t expect the in-the-tank moral cretins of the Toledo Blade to understand or recognize the difference. After all, they’ve got a citizen to smear and destroy!

Re: Tax liens - you mean like the tax liens currently in place against the Treasurer of Obama’s campaign?

These bastards can’t expire onto the trash heap of history soon enough to suit me. I haven’t bought a dead tree newspapers in years. I doubt I ever will again.
