The contrast between, on the one hand, the huge amount of material about Obama’s radical associations that has been published in on-line journals and in a few brave newspapers, and on the other the refusal by big media to address it and to vilify those who do, becomes more astounding by the day.
It is astounding if you don’t understand that the American mainstream media is a propaganda organization almost entirely in the tank for Barack Obama, and dedicated to delivering to him - and any Democrat, for that matter - a promised lift of fifteen percent of the total vote by protecting him, smearing his opponents, and offering “news” that consists mostly of “fake but accurate” reports designed to advance their collective goal of electing him.

In this campaign they are learning how well the big lie, applied systematically works. Next time, these things will be standard procedure. Oh, I know lying has always gone on, but lying as a studied, standard procedure will be new (if you get caught, lie about that too - always lie - never, ever, admit anything).
Universal medicare and the threat that the right will dismantle it will be an advantage for the left for decades.
Government health care is what turned Canada over to the socialists on a permanent basis, and you’re right–once it’s in place, the government has a pretty much overwhelming stick to bash you with. Everyone stays very, very quiet in Canada.
Canada even improved on the usual enslaving effect of national health by making it illegal to provide or use non-governmental health care.
Watch the military get dismantled to pay for it, too.
This is one of the viral memes I will be promoting in opposition to nationalized health care: All of the nations that have it - without exception - have crappy militaries, and depend on us for protection if they are in the west.
It should be a viral meme, but I observed this myself years ago. You can have an effective military or you can have medicare, but you can’t have both. In the end, the medicare won’t be effective either. Nobody could do it. Not even the Soviet Union.
I’ve thought for years that medicare is a one way switch. You can throw it, but you can’t throw it back. Throw it, and it’s game over. You are now a stable socialist country.
Two words, Tom: Generational war.
And six more: Geezer, rope, tree. Some assembly required.
