Right Wing Nut House » IF ELECTED, OBAMA WILL BE MY PRESIDENT

You can talk about “voter fraud” and “stealing elections” all you want but the fact remains that if Obama is certified by the electoral college and the House of Representatives as President of the United States, that ends the discussion in our republic. There is no more important aspect of democracy than the minority accepting the will of the majority. The constitution gives the minority certain protections against getting steamrolled by the majority. But it doesn’t give the minority the right to torpedo the legitimacy of the winner.

You’re missing the point, Nut House. Of course Obama is the legally elected President of the US. But does he represent me? No, of course he doesn’t. I won’t be voting for him, and I won’t be supporting any of his programs or initiatives. Moreover, I will be waging open war against his policies and his party, in hopes of seeing his party destroyed, and his presidency equally savaged.

Don’t confuse “legitimacy” with support. Obama will be the legitimate President. But does that mean I support him in almost all of his policies and intentions? Absolutely not.
