And, he added: “I want somebody who is going to be able to challenge my thinking and not simply be a ‘yes person’ when it comes to policymaking.

“Yes person?”

Is that political correctness talking, or is it an Actual Clue?

    That would be no one at all. No one is allowed to challenge his oracular pronouncements, thoughtful or otherwise.

    Interpreting it another way, “somebody able to challenge his thinking” would be any twelve year old. I call Obama’s thoughts and positions sophomoric only because “elementary schoolish” isn’t a word.

    Don’t you feel sorry for Barrick? We may have the most extreme example yet of “peaked too soon”.

    Victor Davis Hanson thinks Obama never expected this campaign to be anything more than a learning experience for a newbie. The Messiah phenomenon caught him as unprepared as everyone else.

    Yah, I know, I’m writing him off before the contest is even close to being finished, and that’s bad luck, but heck the next thing that would happen if Obama plummeted off the board is that McCain would peak too soon too.

    Then what? So I’m just thinking ahead.

    Oh, BTW, sorry for interfering so shamelessly in your politics, but … I just can’t help it.
