Analysis: Why the Home Debate Matters - The Fix
“Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses?” asked McCain spokesman Brian Rogers. “Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people ‘cling’ to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about who’s in touch with regular Americans?”
Sure he does. Because Obama is so far out of touch with ordinary Americans, he might as well be living on Mars. Or in the Chicago Democratic Machine.
It’s a Democrat article of faith that Americans don’t like rich people as a class. In fact, Americans love rich people so much they want to become one and join them. What they don’t like are dumbasses who happen to be rich. And that would be Barack Obama.

IMHO, there’re a lot of them that don’t care for rich folks who got that way purely based upon their being politically popular with Liberals/people who want to tell everyone how to live their lives, as well…
Each election cycle, I gear up for the pile of bullshit that the Dems expect us to swallow. And each time, I’m still surprised at how stupid and out of touch they actually are.
You know, if the Hildebeast were the presumptive nominee, as I had thought, I would bet that she’d be up 10 points right now. I thought that Kerry was a bad nominee. I really didn’t expect the donkeys to nominate a worse candidate.
note; there are no private beaches in Hawaii
McCain owns many houses. Most of us don’t.
McCain doesn’t know how many. Most of us do.
does this have legs?
My friends, it’s the Rockettes
Who cares? Certainly not the Dems. Certainly not the Obamas. Certainly not the Clintons. And for sure not the Kennedys. They all have their multimillion dollar hovels.
Ever hear of a blind trust? Most members of the Senate have their money in them. None of them are supposed to know what they own.
Grow up.
