What should Obama do?
Well, polling data offers some helpful clues.
The most recent CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey of 914 registered voters from July 27-29 (MoE +/- 3%) shows the following issue advantages for Obama.
Health Care — 56 percent to 39 percent over McCain
Taxes — 51 percent to 45 percent over McCain
Jobs — 57 percent to 38 percent over McCain
Gas Prices — 51 percent to 40 percent over McCain
Yeah, I want to see those ads exploiting the Dem “advantage” on taxes.
Bring’em on.

People who still believe he’s not targeting them when he talks about “taxing the rich.”
As P.T. Barnum once said…
My personal favorite is the one where all those folks seem to think Da Obamessiah is going to somehow create a whole bunch of jobs -
I’ve seen quite a few Chief Execs who were pretty good at doing away with jobs (one of the very best at that was ol’ Tricky Dicky Nixon - he of “Wage And Price Controls”
fameinfamy - but that’s another ball of string), but I don’t recollect any (at least in recent times*) that were much good at creating them…Oh, but of course, The Obamanation is gonna be all different and everything, right?…
*Democrats and select others will no doubt point to F.D.R. - a nice fella overall, no doubt, who created “jobs” that, when looked at closely, tend to resemble an early version of Job Corp training crossed with Midnight Basketball, with touches of VISTA - and that often seemed to end up with government in direct competition with private industry, coupled with a monstrous expansion of Federal- and State-level over-regulation of practically everything. Thanks a bunch, Franklin - good thing for you that WW II came along to bail your butt out economically.
