Former Vice President Al Gore, seeking to shake up an energy debate that is focused mostly on drilling, challenged the United States to shift its entire electricity sector to carbon-free wind, solar and geothermal power within 10 years, and use that power to fuel a new fleet of electric vehicles.
How are you going to handle the fact that several thousand genuine scientists - in particular physicists - think you’re full of self-aggrandizing, hysterical horseshit?

How is Algor going to handle the mobs of impoverished peasants out for his blood when the US has to reduce energy consumption by 80% in order to accommodate his no-impact, renewable-only energy goal?

So much for Old Faithful. Once the greenies realize what can happen to geysers and hot springs they’ll try to block geothermal too.
Those of them that know Bush uses Geothermal (and also does everything they like to save “gaia” on his ranch as opposed to the blowhards that burn through gallons of oil like it’s cotton candy) almost certainly already are against it, aren’t they? (better a bonfire on an empty lot next door with pink ladies wandering about…)

Haverwilde, Bush has been doing the geothermal thing on his ranch, since forever, therefore the “BDS” sufferers must be against that tack — it wouldn’t fit their view of him otherwise.
Yet, at the same time they find it easy to ignore excesses of the “carbon nanny in heaven” Al Gore, because he “means well.”
