The Mighty Algore is getting Mighty Plump…
Uh oh. The last president who was stupid enough to tell Americans that they would just have to make do with less was the Useful Idiot from Georgia, and more than anything else, that’s what cost him reelection.
The American people do not want to be told in any way that they will have to do without. Obama is committing political suicide.
You’ll note, though, it didn’t cost him the first time around.
That’s not true. A great many of them nod right along with it, on the implicit assumption that it really means “everyone but me.”
What the Obamatrons hear, and what they think:
“I have a Pilot. That’s Japanese, right? So, it doesn’t count. Anyway, we really need it ’cause putting little Rain in the Corolla car-seat hurts my back.”
“He means fat people. The kind that you see at Wal-Mart. We go to Costco. I’m not fat, I’m big-boned. Anyway, you try and look this good after two kids.”
“Maybe he’ll do something about her ass. I know she’s had two kids, but jeeze.”
“Dad’s condo is like a friggin’ oven! Growing up we had a lock on the thermostat, and now it’s the freakin’ Sahara! Maybe Obama can do something…”
Maybe Al will do a cameo in an Austin Powers film as “Fat Bastard.”

No, but it is stupid and racist, and while the gentleman certainly has the right to voice his views, he has no right to do so on my venue.

By contrast, Reagan, GHWB, and GWB are quite fit, with no instance of obesity, heart disease, or other deterioration.
