Another microsoft failure
May 4th 2008 General

Looks like Gates won’t get Yahoo. Seems the MS offer was a mickey mouse one and the threat of a hostile takeover didn’t work. When making threats you have to be in a position to carry them out. The failure of MS in this deal makes me wonder about their corporate health. Could the Vista debacle be worse than itb looks from the outside?

For now, at least, Microsoft appears to believe it has enough internal weapons to chip away at Google’s dominance of the booming Internet ad market.

Should MS users be alert for “security updates” that affect their ability to use google?
