“She and John McCain are very close,” Clinton said. “They always laugh that if they wound up being the nominees of their party, it would be the most civilized election in American history, and they’re afraid they’d put the voters to sleep because they like and respect each other.”
That’ll work. “Nominate John McCain because he’s Hillary Cankle’s best friend!”

Your asumption is dead wrong… it’s an advantage for someone to be able to work across party lines in this age of political partisanship. If McCain was friends with every dem I’d still vote for him because he stands fast on his convictions and does what is best for America. Todays partisan politics have got us no where for the past 20 years. It is time to get over our own bias and work together.
Well, I mentioned a possible menage a trois awhile back, to much approbation, but I expected the third party to be Hillary’s running mate, not McCain. Wait - you don’t suppose…?
In what age has there not been partisanship?
Fixed it for ‘ya.
Depends on where you think we should have gone, I guess. I, myself, have no desire to live in the non-partisan socialist utopia you probably favor.
