WorldNetDaily: Thompson sees ‘bigger picture’ in Bhutto slaying

Reacting to the assassination of former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson told WND, “This is a war, a clash of civilizations.”

Fox News just reported that Thompson drew a line between his view of the conflict as a war, and others’ legalistic calls for “bringing those responsible” to “justice,” as if this was a criminal matter of some kind.

Both Giuliani and Bush have made calls for the justice option today.
