Compared to whom? Saudi bank deposit and bred-in-the-bone RINO George W. Bush?
Not hardly. In fact, saying the Thompson “hasn’t done anything” makes him a much superior leader to the current president, who has mostly screwed up all the important things he’s tried to do.
Bartlett was harshest in his judgment of Thompson, the former Tennessee senator who jumped into the contest a month ago and faces his first televised debate today.
Of course. Thompson is the man the RINOs of the Bush camp (in other words, most of the members of the Bush camp) fear the most. Waving an honest and genuine conservative in front of them is like waving a cross in front of a vampire.
