Statement by George J. Tenet on C.I.A. Report - New York Times
In August of 2001, the Office of the Inspector General produced an insightful and valuable review of CIA’s counterterrorism efforts. Unfortunately, it is not the one released today.
Idiot. The report produced a month before 9/11 exposed it as a complete work of fiction is the one you want to take seriously, because it, you know, says that CIA Director George Tenet is doing an absolutely fine job combating terror.
The one after that little glitch in NYC, you know, the one where we lost two of the most famous buildings in America, and several thousand American lives,, well, just ignore that one, because it doesn’t say that George Tenet is doing a fantastic job in the anti-terror line.
