Another Triumph for the Democratic Fifth Column In the Senate

Michelle Malkin » Don’t let the Dems kill the John Doe amendment Update: House Dems kill John Doe amendment…fight moves to the Senate Update: 8:55pm Senate Dems kill John Doe amendment…roll added

Congressional Democrats today failed to include a provision in homeland security legislation that would protect the public from being sued for reporting suspicious behavior that may lead to a terrorist attack, according to House Republican leaders.

“This is a slap in the face of good citizens who do their patriotic duty and come forward, and it caves in to radical Islamists,” said Rep. Peter T. King, New York Republican and ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee.

Let your representatives know how you feel about the Dems’ careful protection of the rights of terrorists to plot and carry out terror attacks unimpeded by interference from average Americans.

In the meantime, here’s my strategy: If I should happen to observe any suspicious potential terror activity aimed at any of theDemocratic Senators who voted to kill the amendment, or who sat it out (Clinton, Obama, Brownback), I will ignore it, as these Senators apparently wish for me to do. If such activity is aimed at any of the Senators who supported the amendment, I will take my chances on being sued by irate terrorists, and report it.
