The Oakland Press: National: Kerry, McCain create buzz
McCain has said he would not run with Kerry, but last month he renewed speculation when he was asked on ABC’s “Good Morning America” whether he would consider running with Kerry. He replied, “Obviously, I would entertain it.”
Yeah, the war hero would “entertain” running with the war traitor. Obviously.
Because, deep inside, John McCain is just as soul-less, just as power-crazed, just as untrustworthy as any other statist politician. Since their personal power is based on the power of the state, no expansion of either is ever too much. And nothing is ever too much to sacrifice to achieve that power.
Even honor.
Especially honor.

Those two deserve each other.
A much as I disliked Bob Dole as a candidate, I can’t help but think of what he said about Kerry (quoted in the latest Texas Monthly, in an article on Bob Perry): “He never bled that I know of.” Fonely McCain had the same cajones.
Given that McCain would be so clueless to even answer that question without an emphatic, “Hell no”, should prove to even the moderately observant that McCain shouldn’t even be in his current Senate chair much less the White House. If this gets any airtime, McCain will be completely ruined as a presidential candidate.
Wait. April’s Fools joke? Hardy, harr, har.
No, this joke has been going on for some time.
From the article,
Wow, how could I have missed hearing that in the past? Still, just another reason why he will never get my vote.
